Dimanche 25 septembre 2016, les seniors iront dans le Tarn pour y affronter la Deuxième union athlétique gallaicoise pour le compte de deuxième journée de Fédérale 2 et de Fédérale B.

C’est avec le moral remonté à bloc, suite à la victoire probante de la semaine dernière (pour rappel 70-7), que l’équipe B essayera de ramener un résultat du stade Bernard Laporte. Gageons que le briscard capitaine Ludovic Saffon, fort de son expérience séculaire, saura mobiliser ses troupes et leur évitera ainsi de tomber dans une euphorie aussi inutile que contre-productive (coup d’envoi 13h30).

La  victoire des hommes de David Sanchez fut certes moins large que leurs camarades de l’équipe B, mais elle n’en fut pas moins belle. En effet, face à un adversaire coriace et en surnombre une bonne partie du match suite au carton rouge infligé à un joueur rouge et blanc, l’équipe fanion a su faire preuve d’abnégation pour obtenir la victoire. C’est assurément avec la même détermination qu’il faudra aborder le match face à un adversaire à la recherche de points suite à sa défaite chez le promu de Prades (coup d’envoi 15h).
